Mobile Update

Hi All.

Just a quick update via my mobile to the site. Auditioned for Britains Got Talentr yesterday and really enjoyed it! I sang well so lets hope I get through now. I’m sat on a Manchester to London flight heading for Heathrow to fly to Dubai this morning to pick up Seabourn Yacht. Can’t Wait!

Big Band Jollity!

Hi to all my friends old and new.

Well - first of all I’ve just returned from a fabulous cruise aboard the Oriana with a great line up of entertainers - Jimmy James from the 60’s/70’s era along with the Vagabonds, Iris Williams OBE, Fraser Hinds, Mark Porter and Don Reid…

I’m now home for a while doing UK gigs until i go on board the Sea Princess on 1st Jan 2010. I’m doing part of a World cruise on Aurora from Japan to Sydney so that will be great, one I’m really looking forward to!

Now for the HOT NEWS!

I’m also pleased to be able to finally announce the show I held off talking about in my previous post (see below). Yes as well as the 13th Feb Valentines show with myself and Barry White tribute, - the Sands have also booked in Jan 30th, when myself and my very special guest and friend Mr Pete Conway (yes, Robbie Williams dad!) will be re-united again LIVE on stage…

We are going to be doing an evening backed by my own Big Band, with some great hits old and new from the swing and big band era.

Pete will be my host and compere and we’ll even do a few numbers from Rob’s ‘Swing When Your Winning’ album if all goes well. Its a night not to be missed, anything could happen - AND PROBABLY WILL! Anyone that’s seen Pete in the past will know what a consumate professional he is - and can see where Robbie get’s his style and stage presence from… I can’t wait to premier this show - make sure you grab a ticket as soon as you can!

Hi all - away cruising at the moment but I’m VERY pleased to say that a date has been confirmed on February 13th 2009 (Valentines time!) for me at THE SANDS at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. For those of you not local to it, The Sands is a truly fantastic venue in the traditional style of Jazz clubs - but more - the dining there is absolutely exquisite!

Stay posted for another stunning announcement too - dont want to jinx it yet - but suffice to say I’m VERY excited by it….

Many apologies to all my friends and fans who keep asking why i haven’t been updating my site recently.

Well the fact is i’ve been so busy this year , then i got so involved with preparing for loose women in May after which i set sail on Balmoral in june and my feet haven’t touched the ground since.

It was Aurora, Oriana, Oceana, Grand Princess, Arcadia and Ventura. Now I’m home till the 9th Oct then back on Ventura and Oriana again on 22nd Oct. but i’ve got so many shows at home up and down the country i’ve just about got time to do my washing then i’m off again.

I have put a few new pics on the site and i’ve already got new videos to go on from my Big band swing show and even some new audio clips i’ve just got to make time to go to the office with Andy to edit them ,but i’ll let you know when they are added.

Thanks for the kind emails and little notes on my site, please keep them coming - I check it everyday. For all the ladies who i know are interested i’ve got lots of new frocks this year, so i look forward to seeing you at one of my shows or on a cruise. I will be trying to blog a bit more regularly now so keep checking back.

Lots and Lots

Well i’m up and about this morning after a great show last night at Tropicana, Chapel St Leonards.
I’ve got a busy week coming up. Fri/Sat/Sun, Nottingham ,Lincoln (A show for the nurses at Lincoln hospital) and Whitby. Tuesday at Serles Hunstanton, Thursday recording a programme for Sine FM, Friday Birmingham Mecca Bingo party and then a rest (hopefully) before I go to Dover on the 6th to the Fred Olsen cruise ship “Balmoral” for 2 weeks to the North Cape.
I’m sad i didn’t get the job on ‘Loose Women’ but it was great experience and free publicity. Thanks to all who watched, voted and emailed me. I heard from friends I hadn’t heard from in years.

Ill keep you posted as to my next project.

Hi everyone. Just being driven to tonights gig at Warners Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel.

Just thought I’d say another big thank you to everyones kind support for me in the ITV1 Loose Women Competition. Votings closed now, so all I can do is sit and wait until Tuesday to see what the result is… I’ve got everything crossed!

Loose Women

Well hi everybody.

What a busy few days I’ve had. I hadn’t realised that over the weekend I’d been deleting the emails from “Loose Women” telling me i was a semi finalist!

Between gigging and organising my cases from the last cruise and getting ready for my next one, I thought they were spam emails so I just deleted them.

Well, I hope you all watched Loose Women or had a look on the net at www.itv.com/loosewomen
I see that within minutes of it being aired, ladies who watch the programme were commenting on our video’s. Please feel free to have your say and put something (nice) about me. You can also write something on my guest book page if you feel like it.

Lets hope I do well in the competition, I’ll keep you all posted!

Braemar Passenger Review

It’s always nice to get feedback from people I’ve met along the way, but it’s also good when out of the blue I find a review online that I had no idea about. The passenger writing this review about their trip around the Caribbean aboard Fred Olsen’s Braemar has also turned me into a Singer / Comedienne! It seems my comedy is making its mark!
