2011 - A new start…

Well its been a really busy start to 2011, lots of Shearings Hotels, Warners & Britannia hotels too.
This week I’ve been to Bodelwyddan & Alveston and I’m back at Bod on Mon for Valentines day…… can’t wait.

Just in case you want to come & watch me I’m back at Bod on Sun 13th March.

I’m doing various private functions this year so unfortunately they’re not open to the
public. However, I will be appearing at the Barn in Birmingham on Sat 2nd April and then again Sunday lunchtime with the BBC All Stars Big Band so that will be great fun.

On 7th April at the Brunswick Club in Blackpool & then I’m appearing in the 62nd Command show at the Horseshoe Bar in Blackpool (tickets still available).

Various holiday centres / parks etc during the season & away on Star Princess 13th to 18th May.

I’m doing a charity show on 3rd July in Stoke on Trent with a 12 piece big band and the lovely Mr Pete Conway (Robbies dad) & Mr Jonathan Wilkes (bessie mate of Rob).

Norton Grange Isle of Wight on 26th Aug doing my 50’s & 60’s show.

Summer 2010…. The year flys by!

Well yet again a bit lapse at keeping in touch but here I am.

This year has been mixed but great. The gig with Robbies dad at the beginning of the year, Princess, P&O World Cruise, Fred Olsen then in June back to Azura and Ventura. - I’m back on Azura in Sept on 13th I think.

Got a couple of big shows coming up. Hopefully one is going to be a star studded event in Blackpool. I”ll let you know as and when. Then, another in September, it will be advertised here in due course.

I’ve just come back from a week touringCornwall,Devon & Somerset. Last week I quickly fitted in a show at Bodelwyddan Castle (Warners).

I’m actually doing something historical next and treating myself to a holiday in Manila, and mini tour of the Philippines.

Hi everyone, yet again i’ve been a bit slow with updating but here i am again. It was a great night on friday at Nidd Hall for the Yorkshire themed weekend. My biggest fan Keith surprised me by turning up un announced on the front row and having a lovely time as well as catching up after the show.
It was also brilliant to see the gang of Italians again, I met them on Arcadia last August.
Sunday I was in Leicester and again fans and friends I met on Ventura in Sept came to see me.

Earlier that day Nigel had run the London marathon in 3hrs 15 then got a train upto Leicester to see my show with his mum Janet.

Well new cruises for your diaries;
Azura 16th to 25th June
Ventura 27th June to 3rd july
Azura 5th to 12th Sept

Well hello. I know I’ve been rubbish this year at updating the blog but here goes.

It was great the evening at the Sands with Pete Conway & the band, I loved every minute of it (there’s somemore in the pipeline I’ll keep you posted). I also enjoyed Valentines at the Sands with the Barry White tribute, both my gigs were very busy. I’m in Hong Kong at the moment on my way home from Sydney on Auroras world cruise. I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with Bob Champion MBE. We had a fab time, hopefully we are meeting up at Doncaster racecouse soon, as he’s doing a big charity event. Also on the cruise was Des o Connor, what a lovely man to talk to and a great pro act. The epitomey of x factor or having star quality!

A good face for radio?

Hi all
Just a quick hello.
Did anyone hear me this morning on John Carvers Bigger all important breakfast show? I had a fab time you can listen back to it on the Sine FM Website..
I’m also doing TMCR radio next wednesday too.. I had to pospone that due to unforseen circumstances. Anyway I’ve decided I’d love to do more radio because i really enjoyed myself, and as my website manager Mr Andy Lockwood says “I’ve got a face for radio”..

Hello to all the people I met on Sea Princess last week. What a great cruise, and it was fab to catch up with a lovely bunch of cabarets, photo’s to follow. Well I’m so busy since I’ve come home, gigging every night.

This week I’ve done the Scarborough Grand Hotel, Alveston Hall, The Barn Birmingham, tonight is closer to home - Barnsley and Nidd tomorrow.
I’m also busy getting ready for my show at The Sands on the 30th Jan with the legendary Pete Conway, then before i know it i’ll fly off to Japan to join the P&O ship Aurora.
Also there’s a great 3 page spread about my career in Profile magazine, you can read it on line. I’ve got lots more to tell you but I’ll leave that for another day. Bye for now.xx

Hi All - had a great time on Seabourn Pride - Dubai to Mumbai, and met up with the world famous and lovely Stirling Moss, and his wife who were passengers on board - we all had a great time, “photos in latest album”.
Back to reality and gigging!!!
